Boiler manufacturers and the Gas Safe Register recommend that all gas appliances be serviced anually. Some insurance companies require annual servicing as part of their terms and conditions. It has been proved that gas appliances can work more efficiently and the risk of breakdown is greatly reduced if serviced regularly.

Our engineers will conduct a comprehensive service of your domestic gas appliance, checking all vital components and using the latest gas analysing equipment to ensure that you have the utmost confidence in the efficiency and safety of your appliance.

We can also carry out and issue landlord safety certificates and gas safety certificates.

Monicol Heating are able to provide repairs for all of your domestic gas appliances. Breakdown repair is the core of our business and our years of experience have enabled us to build up a great knowledge and understanding of most manufacturers installed in this area.

We carry a large van stock of spare parts which means that most common faults can be repaired on the first visit. However, if this cannot be achieved, we have a great relationship with our spares suppliers enabling us in most cases to ensure a next day completion.

CARBON MONOXIDE

If you have an open flued boiler, normally identified as an older appliance with a pilot light, we would recommend the fitting of a CO detector. Although this does not negate the need for annual servicing, it does provide a supplementary line of defence against this odourless and potentially dangerous gas.
